“Hum ho gaye safal” is a catchy, inspirational, celebratory National Harmony piece, which was penned by Ravikiran within an hour of the success of Chandrayaan on 23 August 2023. It was presented within 3 days by a National Orchestra (VADYA GANA VRINDA) consisting of some of India’s most celebrated and talented performers at the G20 Finale concert by All India Radio, Chennai.  Soon thereafter, Ravikiran also made a School/College version of this song featuring nearly 100,000 students.  The tune was deliberately adapted from Shri Girija Kumar Mathur’s oft-sung “Hum honge kamiyab ek din”, which was itself a replica of the English piece, “We Shall Overcome”!  While the spirit of “hum honge kamiyab ek din” reflected the hope of a rising India several decades ago, literally stating that “We will be successful some day”, this song declares “hum honge kamiyab har ek din”, meaning that “We are successful now and will continue our march to be so every day”.
