To pacify Hanuman, Rama has the lingam that Hanuman brought, the Viswa-lingam, installed alongside the Rama-lingam. He declares that puja be performed to the Viswa-lingam first and them to the Rama-lingam, enhancing the greatness of Rameshwaram as a great religious centre. Ends with everybody chanting the praise of Shiva, Rama, Seeta and Hanuman
