Collaborations

Ravikiran has collaborated with orchestras, ensembles and artistes of several genres across the world from his teens, including Western Classical, Jazz, Pop, Chinese, Brazilian, Middle Eastern and African, not to mention Hindustani and Carnatic.

Ravikiran has collaborated with numerous top line artists of diverse genres including Western Classical, Jazz, Pop & Rock, Brazilian, African, Middle Eastern, Chinese, not to mention Carnatic and Hindustani. A few are listed here:

As an accompanist

In order to showcase the chitravina’s capabilities as a melody-accompaniment in lieu of the violin, Ravikiran also donned the role of an accompanist to select legends such as Dr Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, his guru T Brinda, Shri R K Srikanthan, Shri K V Narayanaswamy, Dr Nedanoori Krishnamoorthy and Smt T Mukta. In recent times, some of his students have also been providing Chitravina or Veena accompaniment in concerts.
