This Sanskrit composition in praise of Shri Muttuswami Dikshitar was an inspired creation of Ravikiran’s on Diwali Day in 2021, which also coincides with the Aradhana Day (death anniversary) of the iconic Indian Classical composer. Ravikiran woke up following a dream in which Dikshitar appeared before him and immediately composed this song which starts with the exclamation, Veekshitoham shree guruguha bhaktam which translates to: “I’ve seen the great devotee of Guruguha” (Dikshitar’s favourite deity Subramanya as well as his signature). The song with several interesting rhymes centred on the syllable ’kSha’ is set in the Indian Raga Padi, which was immortalised by Dikshitar
