I beseech you Kanna, to desist from dancing (because the repercussions are far too many).Your dance is causing the entire universe to sway in unison.
Even the Lord of the cosmic dance, Shiva, has abandoned his dance and has come to Gokulam to witness your performance. And so, Yadava! Madhava! I am begging you to desist from dancing.
As you dance, the jingle of the anklets sound ethereal; those who are fortunate enough to hear it become ecstatic. The plaited hair gets disheveled by the dance and the peacock feather in the hair moves out of its place.
The Peacock (the vehicle of Lord Muruga), struts with its magnificent plumage and presents a feather to adorn your hair. Oh! How do I describe your beauty?! Even an ardent devotee witnessing your dance could end up casting an evil eye and that might hurt me badly.
